The room had a decent amount of space with a balcony that overlooked a garden, which is a nice touch for those who enjoy a bit of greenery. Having a microwave and fridge in the room is convenient for keeping snacks and drinks on hand.
The decor and furniture are a bit dated and in urgent need of attention, which makes the whole place feel tired. I noticed some issues like noticeable drafts from the windows, which made the temperature uncomfortable, and the TV channels took forever to load. The common areas had a musty odor, and it felt like the place could use a thorough cleaning and maintenance overhaul. the breakfast service seemed inconsistent and inadequate for those needing to eat early, leaving a lot to be desired.

The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with essentials, making it easy to grab a cuppa. Plus, the conveniently located room had a comfy mattress to crash on after a busy day exploring local eateries like the Dancing Goat.
Despite the charming garden photos, the aggressive dogs made outdoor lounging impossible. With beds that creaked and the living room closing early, it felt like a missed opportunity to unwind.

Family with children paradise
From the moment we checked in with Janet, we felt welcomed like family. We had an amazing full freshly cooked English breakfast, and I can’t forget that butcher's sausage, it was exceptional. The room for the rate charged was outstanding, with a nice fridge and microwave, made life a lot easier with kids around.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for, right?

Had a fantastic time with my group of friends! We visited The Deep aquarium and enjoyed walking around the lovely garden. The room was comfy with great amenities. It was super handy having a fridge and microwave for our meals. Janet was an amazing host, making us feel at home and serving up a delicious breakfast. Would recommend this place for a fun getaway!
We noticed that our twin room faced the front of the property, and it was a bit noisy with occasional sirens. Not a major issue since we were there for a good time, but light sleepers might want to ask for a quieter room.

I had a great stay in the Double Room! It was spacious, with a comfy bed and quality linens. The fridge and microwave were super convenient for snacks and drinks. Breakfast was freshly cooked and really satisfying, especially that butcher's sausage! The only downside was the dark atmosphere in the room and the musty odor when I first arrived, but it aired out nicely after opening the window. it felt like a cozy little escape.
